A furious Lola confronts Jay over the police questioning and is horrified by what she is faced with on her return home.

In a desperate attempt to bond with Sasha, Kim offers her a work experience placement in a hospital. But is she being honest about what the work entails?

TUESDAY 3RD JULY

Determined to ruin  Alice and Derek's special lunch, Joey pulls out all the stops to hurt his father - forcing Alice to choose between the two men in her life.

The Queen Vic football team try-outs begin, but the boys are in for a shock when Big Mo announces she is the team's physio. And when Alfie misses a penalty during the match, Kat has to decide whether she can bring herself to drop him from the team.

Phil's idea to relieve Shirley of her grief comes in the shape of a beaten-up burger van - will Shirley take the bait?

WEDNESDAY 4TH JULY

Kat's confidence is boosted when she flirts with Derek, Jack, Max, Michael and Ray - but its not long before she gets herself into a compromising situation.

Phil forbids Ben from reminding Shirley that it's Heather's birthday. In a strange gesture of self-comfort, Ben writes her a birthday card which he hides.

Lola and Jay spend the day together, but will Lola make it home in time to beat her curfew?

THURSDAY 5TH JULY

A guilty Kat wants to put yesterday's events behind her, but it might not be that simple...

A smitten Lucy rewards Joey when he comes to her rescue, after she finds herself in a tricky situation.

Sasha and Cora devise a cunning plan to increase sales in the charity shop, rivalling the Moons' Emporium.

FRIDAY 6TH JULY!

Shirley's erratic behaviour spirals out of control and she finds herself in a dangerous position - but which unlikely resident will come to her rescue?

Joey's romance with Lucy heats up, but he is forced to make a decision which is bound to disappoint her.

A tired and emotional Janine is stunned when Michael announces that he has registered their baby's new name without her and that she's no longer called Pat…

MONDAY 9TH JULY

Kat is determined to forget her mystery lover and hides her phone to save herself from temptation. However, when she hears that an angry Alfie is looking for her, she panics - and as she goes to retrieve her phone, it is missing...

Zainab is anxious about leaving her family for the weekend, but after reassurances from Masood she goes. Little does she know that Masood's wayward brother AJ has just arrived on the Square - and it soon becomes clear why Zainab is not a fan.

Shirley's day doesn't start off well, but things look up when Andrew tells her that he is no longer considered a suspect in Heather's killing. Delighted, Shirley shares the news with Jay and Ben, announcing the police can now focus on their search for the real killer.

TUESDAY 10TH JULY

Things finally seem to be looking up for the Mitchells, as Ben, Jay and Shirley enjoy a rare day out together. Then Jay makes a shocking discovery, and his world crashes down around him…

 Kat continues to make every effort in her relationship with Alfie, even arranging time alone for them. But when the kids arrive home early she is disappointed - especially as Alfie doesn't seem to be bothered. With her mystery man still pursuing her, will she succumb to his charms?

After getting on the wrong side of Derek Branning, AJ frantically tries to put things right - but Derek isn't the only person who AJ has to worry about.

THURSDAY 12TH JULY

Jay struggles to cope with his grim discovery and makes a decision that could affect his life forever - but will someone prevent him from going through with it?

Kat feels torn between Alfie and the mystery man who is relentlessly pursuing her - but just as she makes a decision, Jean throws a spanner in the works.

There is an instant spark between AJ and Denise, but after one too many drinks, Denise ends up revealing a little too much about Masood and Zainab's relationship.

FRIDAY 13TH JULY

Phil is furious when he discovers the truth from Jay and Ben, and points out that things could soon be over for them all.

,Kim is put out when Ray arranges a lads' night out, so Kat comes up with a plan to ensure that Ray stays on his best behaviour - but is she too close for Kim's comfort?

Zainab and AJ appear to be building bridges, to Masood's relief - but it doesn't take long for her to realise that leopards don't change their spots.

MONDAY 16TH JULY 

Everything goes wrong for Michael, as he desperately tries to make baby Scarlett’s hospital appointment. When he eventually arrives an angry Janine tries to push him away - will she make a father out of Michael or send him packing for good?

Bored of being stuck in the house, Lola leads Jay into mischief, with dire consequences. Is this Lola’s last taste of freedom?

Shirley receives some news about her daughter from Denise and, feeling rejected and alone, the news tips her over the edge.

TUESDAY 17TH JULY

Janine’s suspicions about Michael are exacerbated when he asks her to sign some business papers. Just how far can she trust him?

When Patrick attends the funeral of an old drinking buddy, Cora and Rose tag along in an attempt to persuade the widow to donate her husband’s belongings to the charity shop - and Patrick leaves with more than he bargained for.

Lola returns home and Jay is forced to decide just where his true heart lies.

THURSDAY 19TH JULY

Alfie’s obsession with the pub football team is blinding him to Kat’s appeals for affection. But will she be able to resist when her mystery man leaves her the key to a flat?

When a neighbouring baby is rushed from the ward, Janine calls Michael telling him that she needs him. Back in the Square, Michael is horrified when he discovers the code to the safe has been changed.

Shirley promises to keep a heavily pregnant Lola out of trouble, but when she accidentally locks them both in Lola’s bedroom, panic ensues.

It's Billy's big day as the Olympic torch arrives in Walford. Assured by Alfie that he will make it back in time, Billy agrees to play in the Queen Vic football match. But disaster strikes and the entire team are delayed on their journey home...

Meanwhile, Alfie is adamant that Kat should stay at home while the boys go to the football match - but will she play the dutiful wife when she has a mystery lover in the wings?

MONDAY 23RD JULY 9PM

Will Billy make it to the torch relay in time? Everyone does their best to help him, but a number of obstacles threaten to destroy his dream...

Meanwhile, Lola awaits the start of the torch relay for Billy's big moment - but soon realises that this could be a big day for her as well.

TUESDAY 24TH JULY

Lucy is pleased when Joey comes to her rescue, but Derek is livid to find out that he is a pawn in Joey's scam. Is Joey really helping Lucy, or is he only motivated to get revenge on his dad?

Tired and emotional, Janine is struggling to cope without Michael by her side. Whitney does her best to persuade Michael to return, but will he?

 Tanya gets excited when she overhears rumours that Cora has a new man in her life - but she ends up pushing things too far, leaving her relationship with her mother at breaking point.

Feeling guilty after her behaviour at dinner the night before, Tanya tries to make up with Cora. But in doing so, she stumbles across a shocking secret that her mother has kept from her all her life …

Desperate to find out more about the sister she never knew she existed, Tanya grills Cora for information. But Cora shuts down, leaving Tanya devastated.

New mum Lola is feeling the strain as she pays for her recent offences with community service.

Masood is faced with a life-changing decision when Zainab discovers his secret dream, while Syed snaps under the strain of his collapsing business and news of Christian’s plan for Yasmin.

Lauren and Whitney plan to do some volunteer work in exchange for gig tickets, but Lauren tries to bail out when she discovers that it will involve feeding the homeless.

Tuesday 31 July 

Lucy's day is heading for disaster as the cafe's boiler breaks, leading to chaos. Has Ian's absence finally got the better of her?

Alice is upset to find Anthony flirting with Kim. But she is soon beaming when she receives a bouquet of flowers from him and realises that they could have a future together.

Upset and emotional, Tanya enlists help to get answers from her mum about the sister she never knew existed. But will Max persuade Cora to face her haunted past?

Kim becomes wary of Ray when he lies about his whereabouts and receives anonymous calls on his mobile. Could his suspicious behaviour spell the end of their blossoming relationship?

After a long day of volunteering Lauren is shocked to see a familiar face amongst the homeless - all be it blackened and sporting a dirty, matted beard.

Thursday 2 August 

Lauren plucks up the courage to tell a sceptical Tanya and Max the truth about Ian’s disappearance - and where she has seen him. But their search proves fruitless when a young homeless girl takes them for a ride - and they start to wonder if they are wasting their time.

Fed up with the ongoing tension between Ben and Jay, Lola attempts to rekindle the boys' friendship. The pair agree to be civil, but only for her benefit, and Jay tells a devastated Ben that their friendship will never be the same again.

As the reality of full-time fatherhood hits him, Michael is left feeling lonely and isolated - but is he prepared to have Janine home?

When Joey reveals Anthony's disaster with Alice, Derek swears to put an end to the relationship - but to what lengths will he go to?
